Route
By road
Coming from the A12 in a north-westerly direction.
Once in The Hague, turn left onto Zuid Hollandlaan.
Take first right onto Koningskade.
Turn left onto Laan Copes van Cattenburgh.
Continue onto Carnegielaan.
At the end of Carnegielaan turn left onto Laan van Meerdervoort.
The Mesdag Collection is on your left.
Public transport from The Hague Central Station
Bus
Bus 24 (destination Kijkduin) from the bus platform above the railway station (direct, all day). Alight at Vredespaleis (Peace Palace).
Tram
Rush hours: Tram 10 (direction Statenkwartier) from the tram stops at ground level outside the railway station (direct). Alight at Vredespaleis (Peace Palace).
Outside rush hours: Tram 16 (destination Moerwijk) or 17 (destination Statenkwartier). After two stops at Kneuterdijk change to Tram 1 (destination Scheveningen Noorderstrand). Alight at Vredespaleis (Peace Palace).
Public transport from The Hague Hollands Spoor Station
Tram
Tram 1 destination Scheveningen Noorderstrand (direct, all day). Alight at Vredespaleis (Peace Palace).
Tram 10 destination Statenkwartier (direct, rush hour only). Alight at Vredespaleis (Peace Palace).
Please note: From Vredespaleis (Peace Palace) it is a 2-minute walk to The Mesdag Collection.
Parking
Paid parking is available near The Mesdag Collection.
Mesdag Shop/Mesdag Café
The Shop sells a wide variety of art books, posters, picture postcards and original gifts. The Mesdag Shop and Café are open Wednesday to Sunday from 12 am to 5 pm, even if you are not visiting the museum.
